Wodgina Minesite is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Mineral Resources is committed to establishing a Lithium Mine at Wodgina, with Ablemarle purchasing 50% of the proposed mine for $1.5 billion.
As part pf the development, an airstrip is to be constructed on site to alleviate the requirement for FIFO personnel to travel 1(+) hours each way to the Port Hedland Airport. Mineral Resources are self-performing the actual construction of the airstrip.
Allroads, via our relationship with Goldplay Yandeyarra Joint Venture (an indigenous entity who has traditional ownership status over the lands on which works are being undertaken), has been awarded the contract to win, load and haul the embankment fill and subgrade for the airport with the total quantity of fill required will be circa 400,000 tonnes.
