Pindari Street, Rochedale Master Drainage Project
- Logan City Council
- $3.5 million
- Rochedale, Queensland
ALLROADS were awarded the contract to undertake drainage infrastructure works at Pindari Street, Rochedale for Logan City Council.
This project required the upgrade of the existing stormwater infrastructure network in Pindari Street and other surrounding streets.
Construction works performed under the contract included installation of RC pipes, box culverts, manholes, access chambers, gullies, drainage structures, minor pavement reconstruction, asphalt resurfacing, kerb and channel reinstatement, retaining walls, concrete driveways and other minor concrete works.
Having multiple work locations in a number of streets was found to be challenging in managing local traffic entering and exiting their properties. As a result, ALLROADS worked closely with our traffic management subcontractor to provide a safe environment for the local residents affected by the construction works.
Effective community liaison was critical to the successful delivery of the works. To that end, to ensure that local residents were aware of possible interruptions, ALLROADS project team worked in conjunction with residents to keep them informed of works progress and ultimately provide them with a quality final product with minimal impacts on their community.
