- ruce Highway, Gin Gin – Benaraby (North of Granite Creek Rest Area), Queensland
Works undertaken for the Road widening and construction of the southbound overtaking lane and include; Earthworks, drainage, unbound and stabilised pavement, surfacing works and new road furniture and road signage.
As the works are constructed under live traffic conditions, a Traffic Management plan was developed to limit the required traffic switches to just 3 stages. This will reduce driver confusion when travelling through the site.
Careful programming and strategic staging is integral in order to ensure a safe and trafficable site is maintained throughout the construction duration.
Stakeholders, including Local Government and Local residents / Land owners are consulted in accordance with our Community Liaison and Traffic Management Plan requirements.
